GeoBarnFind helps you mark and remember where you spotted barn-find vehicles. Drop a pin on a satellite map and log the make, model, year, and your own notes. This page covers how to use the app and how to get help.
Press and hold on the map where the vehicle is. A pin drops at that point. Tap it to fill in the make, model, year, and notes.
Tap a pin to open its details. From there you can update any field or delete the pin. Deleting is permanent.
Location is used only to center the map on where you are and to drop a pin at your current spot when you tap the locate button. Your location is used on your device and is never sent to us.
Your saved pins and details live on your device, so you can view and edit them without a connection. The satellite map imagery itself needs internet to load.
All your pins and notes are stored locally on your phone. We do not have servers and never collect or transmit your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Yes. Because everything is stored on your device, uninstalling the app removes all saved pins. There is currently no cloud backup.
The satellite imagery needs an internet connection. Check that you're online, then close and reopen the app. If the map still doesn't appear, try toggling airplane mode off and on.
Make sure location permission is enabled for GeoBarnFind in your phone's Settings, and that location services are turned on for your device.
Tap the pin to open it and delete it, then press and hold the correct spot to drop a new one. Zooming in before dropping a pin makes placement more precise.
