GeoBarnFind ("we", "the app") is a hobby app for marking and remembering the locations of barn-find vehicles. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data we collect

GeoBarnFind collects and stores the following data only on your device using your phone's local storage (AsyncStorage):

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of this data on our servers. We do not have servers. We do not use analytics, tracking, advertising IDs, or cookies.

Your location is used in real time on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or any third party other than the map provider described below.

Third-party services

The app uses the Google Maps Static Maps API to display satellite map imagery. When the app loads a map view or a satellite thumbnail, the coordinates you are viewing are sent to Google so they can return the appropriate imagery. Google's data handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not share any other data with any third party.

Data deletion

Because all data lives on your device, you can delete it at any time by:

GeoBarnFind is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will replace this page. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
